First Blog post of the year!!! This blog post is a month late, I've just been trying to settle into the new year (If thats even a thing?!) but thats the only valid explanation I have. Either way HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had an enjoyable festive period and enjoyed the trial month that was January 2017!
I don't know if I'm just extra excited or just eager for 2016 to be long forgotten but something about this year 2017 just feels different. There's just something about this year. Last year for me was a LONG and HARD year. It was both of these things but it was also a necessary year. It was the year of growing pains, the year of learning some hard lessons and the year of self development. If I had the option to do 2016 again, I wouldn't. But I'm so grateful for the lessons I learned because they were oh so necessary.
For me 2017 is the year of "Do". By do I mean; Doing the things I didn't get to do last year because the L's of life got to me, Implementing the lessons I learnt last year into my life so I can do things differently and just doing less talking and more doing.
Although I'm very talkative by nature I've never been a fan of putting my goals on blast and doing the whole saying what I'm going to do, I would rather my accomplishments and actions do the talking for me. This is why 2017 for me, Is the year of "Do".
I want to DO more so that my goals and accomplishments talk louder than my words could ever be. I have been writing my goals for 2017 bit by bit (and creating mood board (Might share this later)), some seem crazy and some easily attainable but either way this year I really want to work hard to DO more so I can achieve more.
I have a really good feeling about this year, not sure why but I hope I'm right. I'm wishing you all an amazing new year and hope you hit the goals you've set out to achieve this year.
